Design Spotlight: Parquet Paradise at the La Bella House
We have a little something for lovers of eclectic flooring design – the La Bella House. This parquet paradise blends various materials and parquet patterns into a one-of-a-kind floor that will be cherished for decades to come.

The Process
This multi-week-long project was custom crafted for a stylish, young family. After settling into their newly purchased home, the clients decided it was time to replace the home’s original flooring. Bye-bye tile and hello to hardwood!
The homeowners consulted with our design team and were shown multiple flooring options. While the first few did not quite capture their hearts, our Nesso Herringbone certainly did. It was the warm, light shade of which they had been dreaming.
Shortly after selecting their materials, the four-week-long installation process began.
The Design
Collaborating to craft a one-of-a-kind floor, the homeowners and members of our design team worked closely together. It was ultimately decided that two different types of parquet patterns would be installed, as well as straight planks.

The two types of parquetries used were Herringbone and Basketweave. In an exciting design twist, the Basketweave parquet included inlays of Carrara marble tile.
And to go above and beyond with this flooring design, the main bedroom’s floor features gold schluter. This accent was used to separate the tile inlays from the Nesso Herringbone hardwood flooring. Glass medallions were also custom-crafted and installed within the tile inlays for an extra touch of luxury.
